The thesis aims to enhance the performance of NH Glass Company, Ltd., through an innovative incentive program. The above company has been in the glass industry. The theoretical part is describing the nature and content of motivation and motivational theories. The practical part includes the evaluation of survey results on the basis of the suggested possible improvements to the current incentive system in a selected company. This proposal will help to improve and enhance employee performance.

This bachelor thesis deals with work performance and work management on re-mote work conditions in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to assess the home office as one of the options of work organization and in terms of its long-term functioning, especially in the field of performance and work management of remote workers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains a review of the litera-ture dealing with the issue. The second part of the thesis contains the actual re-search, which is divided into two parts. The first part of the research is based on a questionnaire survey, which was participated by the employees of the given com-pany. The second part is structured interviews with 5 senior employees of the company.

Unemployment isn't the only problem that puts a strain on the state. Population ageing in combination with a poor health condition brings about major problems and leads to both state and consumer higher spending. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to assess the impact of the worsened health condition on the work efficiency. Elderly people are the main target group. This thesis is divided into two parts, literary research and empirical analysis. In a literary research the previous studies dedicated to the issue are described, whereas in the empirical analysis the relationship between health and work efficiency is explained. It is verified using regression analysis and evaluated afterwards. The impact on the state budget is investigated as well. In addition, correlation analysis is applied. The data source is the SHARE database.
The subjective determinants of job performance and job involvement: their importance and wider contexts with a focus on job engagement.

The thesis deals with several basic topics such as subjective determinants of job performance, job involvement and job engagement. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of some phenomena and it presents the overview of approaches and concepts used; it maps interpretation ways with the reference to terminological inconsistencies existing in the field. The focus of the theoretical part is put on the description of job performance and its subjective determinants followed by the overview of methods enabling job performance measurement. Furthermore, the concepts of job involvement and engagement are introduced with the emphasis on the diversity of the theories and definitions related to these terms. The conclusion of the theoretical part provides the overview of the studies dealing with the relationship between these concepts, and also broader interconnections with other issues of man-and-work relationships are described. The empirical part presents a research project introducing job performance measurement of employees in education area and the level of their engagement. TITLE The Burnout Syndrome in Teachers' Work ABSTRACT The burnout syndrome represents a serious problem affecting the quality of the life of the stricken persons as well as their efficiency. The notion burnout is defined here. This bachelor thesis specifies the main theoretical sources of burnout, the evolution and the formation of its characteristics. It brings the summary of the circumstances which can facilitate or limit the origin and development of burnout. The burnout syndrome affects members of helping professions mainly. The concept of the helping professions is defined here. The teaching profession is one of the helping professions. The teaching profession is one of the demanding professions. There are the various influences disturbing the work of teachers which affect the overall personal performance and professional satisfaction. This bachelor thesis reports physical and psychical load in teacher work. Situations that can be the source of the emotional exhaustion for teachers are mentioned. The causes of the burnout syndrome, the symptomatology and some of its negative consequences considering the teaching profession are described. The Importance of Motivation for a Leadership

Presented diploma thesis follows up a theme of employee motivation as one of the means of leadership practice. First theoretical part is focused on management theory, leadership proceeding from management practice and it presents how to motivate employees so they would work more efficient and satisfactory for an employer and for themselves. At the end of the theoretical part there is a brief introduction of business organisation itself, its structure. There are presented different types of organisational structure and types of leadership. Practical part follows with an issue concerning motivation of employees in a case study of practice in a specific company. It shows how employees are motivated and how this specific company uses motivational tools. Employees were all addressed in an anonymous questionnaire to give their opinion about this practice. The form contained questions about employees position in a company structure, their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with this position and what is their motivation. Based on the questionnaire the evaluation of main research thesis was made and concluded into recommendation for the company so the motivation of their employees would be as effective as possible as well as they would feel needed on their position and thus stay loyal to the company.

The focus of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current evaluation of employees in an organization. The theoretical part of the work is information and knowledge gained from literature relating to employee evaluation and assessment of their performance, the link between motivation and remuneration, there are also defined individually selected evaluation methods and subsequently defining evaluation interview, including errors that at the evaluation interview with a work very often occurs. The private part describes the characteristics of the selected organization in which it was found informal evaluation of employees. Based on this analysis was conducted via questionnaire. The results of this survey are evaluated in tables which are then summarized. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes findings and subsequent recommendations for streamlining the draft assessment staff in the organization.
